Tempo ("the App") is a chess clock for iPhone and iPad. This policy describes how we handle your information.
None. Tempo does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The App runs entirely on your device with no server component.
Your preferences, custom time controls, and local game history are stored on your device only. They are not accessible to us or any third party.
Tempo offers an optional one-time "Tempo Pro" purchase, handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Apple processes the transaction; we never receive your name, payment details, or Apple Account information. Restoring a purchase relies solely on your Apple Account entitlement as provided by Apple.
When you enable spoken announcements, Tempo uses Apple's on-device speech synthesis to read the clock aloud. No audio is recorded, uploaded, or shared.
Tempo can display the running clock on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. This information is rendered locally on your device and is never transmitted.
Tempo contains no analytics SDKs, no tracking pixels, no ad networks, and no third-party code that collects user data.
The App does not integrate with any third-party services or APIs. The only Apple framework that leaves the device is StoreKit, used solely to complete and restore your purchase.
Tempo does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Since we collect no data from any user, this is inherently satisfied.
If this policy changes, we will update this page with a new date. Since we collect nothing, changes are unlikely.
